Sundays · 10am · El Lago · By car or by boat
Church by the water.
Every Sunday at ten we gather outside, under Sammy G’s on the water, to open the Bible and pray together. You don’t need to know anyone, and you don’t need to have it all figured out.

Your first Sunday
Here’s what to expect.
Walking into a new church can feel like a lot. Ours doesn’t have a front door. It’s a gathering outside by the water, and someone will say hello.
- Find us outside, under Sammy G’s. We’re right by the water. Coming by boat? Sammy G’s is on the water too.
- We start at 10am. Arrive a few minutes early and grab a spot.
- Pastor Omar opens the Bible. A plain, honest message from Scripture.
- We pray together. If you’d like prayer for something, just ask.
- Stay a while. There’s no rush to leave.
- What to wear
- Whatever you’d wear to the water on a Sunday morning. Dress for the weather.
- Bringing kids
- Bring them. Families are welcome.
- If the weather turns
- We post any change on our Facebook page by 8:30 Sunday morning.

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. … Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:14, 16

Take your boat to church
Tie up right on the bulkhead at Sammy G’s and walk up to the service. How it works
Coming by boat
Take your boat to church.
Sammy G’s sits right on the water, so you can come to Sunday service by boat. Here’s how a Sunday morning works from the water.
- Bring fenders. You tie up right on the bulkhead, so hang your fenders and have your dock lines ready.
- Come early. Bulkhead space is limited and goes first come, first served.
- Raft up with us. Bulkhead full? Ask a fellow churchgoer if you can tie off to their boat. A Lighthouse flotilla is part of the fun.
- Walk up for 10am. Service is right there under Sammy G’s.
Rafting up: always ask the owner before you tie to their boat, put your fenders on the side facing theirs, and cross another boat only with the owner’s OK.
